Queijos Santiago is permanently trying to achieve the best quality levels and further satisfaction of its customers, therefore it has implemented a Quality and Food Security Managing System, having been audited and certified according to the NP EN ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Managing System norms and NP EN ISO 22000:2005 – Food Security Managing System norms and in 2016 FSSC 22000 norm to food safety system certification standard.
All of our cheese have guaranteed quality and are produced accordingly to high standards of hygiene, through traditional technics respecting Food Security and the consumers’ health.
Milk is the main ingredient used in our products. It must be fresh, contamination free and answer to high quality standards to ensure the top freshness and excellency of the product.
All milk used in the production of our cheese is subject of evaluation and subsequent technological process that confirm the Food Security of the product.
In Queijos Santiago all products are made through handmade processes in order to guarantee the traditional and true flavour of our cheese.

The company Queijos Santiago was founded in 1918 in Castelo Branco, having almost 100 years in the history of the Portuguese cheese production.
